I think that I’m the last man on earth who actually knows or cares that there’s a difference between the ASMR phenomenon, and the fetish content youtube genre that hijacked the name.
As I suspect that I probably prompted this post, I am *deeply* aware of the ASMR phenomenon. I experience it and like it, but wouldn’t seek it out for personal reasons.
The tags on my reblog were meant to be glib about the youtube content genre.
