im someone who personally enjoys the whole “smol femboy trans boy” thing etc etc (partly bc i relate to it), but i agree with what youre saying 100%.
Thanks for reaching out, anon! Like I said, I don’t actually have a problem with any kind of trans headcanons, especially in a vacuum, and its obvious that a lot of other trans men can relate.
Literally the only reason that I have brought it up is because of how overwhelming and oppressive its become. I was having a conversation about trans headcanons the other day and several other people brought Apollo up as an example that made them uncomfortable.
There is NOTHING wrong with trans Apollo (even if it makes me personally uncomfortable) but I think the environment of fandom and the way that I see trans Apollo treated and talked about has become uncomfortable for me due to the stereotypes and arguable fetishization involved.
