I am not one to cry “fetishization” but from these results I think it is unavoidable to conclude that “trans apollo justice” is being used primarily as a kink rather than just an innocent element of his characterization.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with writing smut, or interacting with trans characters in a kinky way but– this is overwhelming. This paints a picture about how and why the character is being percieved this way.
This very much feeds into my uncomfortable perception of the discussion of “trans apollo justice” being emasculating, and treading close to transphobic territory by relying on stereotypes and insecurities of trans men.
