Hello! Im very new on all of this profiction-antifiction stuff and i wanna know Proshippers are only enjoying fantasies and fictional stuff right? They don’t acctually think any of that is good in real life and noneeof them have real atracttions to kids and animals? (im not being an anti, i genuinely wanna heal from my toxic views and learn more)

“Proship” is a piece of fandom terminology that means that a person in not in favor of censoring the content of fanfiction, and is not in favor of harassing or punishing people who write fanfiction no matter what the content of that fanfiction is.
Being “proship” says nothing about what one believes in is good in real life, or what attractions one has in reality. The term “proship” only relates to fiction.
Obviously, the overwhelming majority of people who are proship are against things like torture, murder, assault, drug overdose, sexual slavery, child abuse, etc etc, (whatever type of dark fiction content you want to ascribe as ‘proship content) in real life and outside of fiction because the overwhelming majority of all people are against those things in real life.
Assuming that someone supports and endorses the events that happen in the fiction they like to read or write is weird.
