Unless the drawing was photorealistic, it more than likely was not illegal under US law.
I just double checked, and yes, shadman was arrested.
For assault with a deadly weapon, not for drawing gross or fucked up cartoons in bad taste.
I’ll be honest I don’t know much about shadman, and I have no desire to know more, but drawing somebody you hate’s child in porn as an attempt to trigger them just seems like a immature thing to do whether or not it’s illegal.
Like, it just sounds like a vindictive edgy middle schooler. Extreme chuuni energy in the worst way.
It’s like getting mad at someone and drawing a picture of you beating them up, except with 4chan loser vibes.
But yeah it sounds like his crime was assault, not drawing immature art in bad taste.
