with the trend of antis reporting and encouraging to report fictional content to cybertip and similar services, let me just say as a csa survivor myself, this fucking sickens me to extreme levels.
call it exaggeration all you want, but last night i was crying my fucking eyes out because i spent so much time thinking about this shit.
i spent time thinking about how there are children and teenagers out there right now who are going through the exact same shit i did, or possibly even something worse, and fictional fucking characters are being put first.
not only have these services stated multiple times that they can’t do anything about drawings, but it takes away valuable time and resources that are supposed to be used for helping actual fucking children. yes, actual fucking children that have rights and emotions and trauma and aren’t just some lineart on paper. encouraging this clogs up the report system and distracts professionals trained to deal with these things from real reports.
when you send multiple reports to these sites of fictional content which, by the way, won’t even get the original artist in trouble anyway, you’ve potentially just gotten another child exploited. or raped. or tortured. or killed. because the experts that could have helped them were busy chasing down your false lead.
a real child could have been saved and an actual predator or child abuser could be thrown in prison and get given the life-ruining criminal record that they deserve. but oh no, some fucking idiots in fandom decided that a drawing of kanna in a swimsuit needed “saving”, and is far more important than some poor kid who has now been further traumatized or is no longer with us because the people trained to deal with these horrific crimes just couldn’t get to them in time.
but no no, please keep telling me how you guys are the ones that are protecting minors.
please keep telling me how you guys are the ones that care about survivors.
please keep telling me how the only people creating a safe space for predators are the gross nasty shippers.
it makes me want to vomit because i know how damaging and traumatizing and scarring these horrific events can be, and people think fictional characters, concepts that don’t fucking exist, are more important.
to anyone that has ever taken part in this vile trend or even just simply encouraged it, fuck you. you absolutely not welcome anywhere near my blog. innocent kids are getting further traumatized because of you and i am fucking livid.
no child should have to go through this shit, and especially be seen as having less value than a fucking drawing.
