If you want to know a little more about the whole emoji combos things, I got a little info on it, if not then uhhh delete this lol tw for mentions of csam btw … I’m pretty sure the who idea of emoji combos for secret communication start in 2020-ish around when a group known mostly as poppytwt began to gain traction and they would use emoji combos in their headers or bios to find each other because they kept their accounts private to avoid rightfully getting mass reported for drawing porn of irl minors (which is legally csam, so yeah, ew) I think a lot of antis think proshippers are doing the same thing because a lot of poppy folks would also label themselves proshippers (but like, pro “problematic” shippers) and so their idea of proshippers as whole comes from that old twitter group. Thinking about it, this may also be why a lot of antis think the pro stands for problematic rather then “for” due to poppytwt misusing the label

What do you think of antis that are a part of fandoms for media like South Park or Danganronpa, where the first is clearly anti-censorship and has a whole bunch of messed up things happen in it, and the second that has like 3 incest plots and is about teens murdering each other. I don’t really understand why someone would be fine with the source media but get upset when fanfiction/fanart depicts similar or the same things.

I think those antis are hypocrites who believe only they are able to consume problematic media in a “pure” way while assuming the rest of us are dirty sinners. I have seen them say precisely that.

It’s not, the emoji combos are an actual thing. You use them for a lot of things; in the para community they’re used to find other paraphiles and denounce what type of paraphile you are, there’s one for being radqueer, there IS a proship one, and used for so much more; there’s even an emoji code to tell your complex syscourse stances! if u can find the radqueer carrd, that’ll help give some examples and make things make a bit more sense.

at the risk of sounding like i came from under a rock, what is this thing with “emoji combos”? i have never seen any of this until following u and seeing antis talking about using emoji combos “to mean things.” the whole concept is strange to me, but maybe i’m the one who’s odd? is this a whole new Internet Thing, emoji combos having meanings behind them? also why do some combos mean certain things, bc i just legitimately don’t get it (tho its possible there isn’t something to “get” here. like i said, i have ZERO concept of this ever, and even seeing posts about it is strange to me bc…well. i just have never known it oh god sorry so like a million questions in one ask. im just confuzzled. baffled, even, and looking for answers

Genuinely beginning to think that antis being so ready to suibait and demand ppl self-harm is tied to why they condone fictional violence so readily with condemning other acts. They know they’re in the wrong for telling others that, but the moment they condemn it in fiction, the moment they put that down in words for themselves online, they can’t justify their suibait anymore because it becomes Wrong In Real Life, according to anti logic. It’s a mess and I genuinely hope they can realize for themselves that block and move on is the best, and healthiest, policy for what brings them discomfort.
