you know you donât need to have a moral reason to not like a ship or character, right? like there doesnât have to be nuance and the people who do like that ship/character arenât targeting you, specifically, in any way. it can just be that the ship/character doesnât spare joy in you. and thatâs okay.
on the flip side, you donât need to defend or have a âreasonâ for liking a ship or character. you donât have to defend your opinion with an essay that âobjectively provesâ that your ship/character is the best or anything like that. your ship/character can simply spark joy in you. and thatâs okay.
hell, some of my favorite ships came about because i liked how their colors looked together. it doesnât have to be that deep. itâs okay if it is. but it doesnât have to be.
hate it when my bros make me put on the cat ears and bell collar just because i âlook really cute in itâ and they want to âbreed me until i cannot form coherent sentences.â like dude stop. iâm gonna get pregnyant.
