Toko happens to like flavorful , hearty foods. Things like a hot curry with pork or beef and potatoes, with some coffee. In my opinion it’s a sign of good taste on his part.
It’s something we often make together on account of our mutual enjoyment, and over the years we’ve gone back to brewing coffee properly, so it only enhances the experience.
And of course, back in school, I may have left a can of coffee and curry bread on his desk on days where I saw he was struggling. In secret, of course ;). Didn’t want anyone thinking I had a heart, after all. It was worth it to see his perplexed and flustered expression when he arrived at his desk.
