Adults who still write fanfiction really need to just grow up and get a life. Because it’s totally kids that are dedicating their time to typing up 600k+ words, constantly proof-reading every chapter they produce, making sure their work is beta read, having perfect grammar, a large range of vocabulary and top-tier writing skills, and doing research about the characters that they’re writing for so they can make sure they’re not OOC. Yep, it’s definitely children that are the ones investing their time in all that. Totally.
Also, they way you word this makes it sound like fanfiction is inherently about “fetishizing LGBT people”, which, needless to say, is absolutely not true, and I think says more about you as a person.
As for the “CP” part… I’m not even going to waste my time on this one. You’ve been asked time and time again to stop using the acronym “CP” to describe fanfiction, and recordings or photos of child sexual abuse in general. Children aren’t a fucking porn category. Use the term CSAM/CSAM or don’t fucking discuss the issue regarding the sexualization of children at all.
I think the fact that bill cipher from Gravity Falls almost had a villain song written by Neil Cicierega is a mix of prophetic, beautiful, telling, and about a hundred other adjectives I can’t comprehend
