Chronically online, touch grass, and brain rot/wormsAll feel like gross phrases to me as they are just conversation stopping insults on the same lines as “get a life” They just seem like bullies new favourite phrase (and it’s ironic bc they appeared after the lockdowns after everyone had just spent two years inside)

You’re right. It’s because they’re all synonyms, and they all mean the same thing. They mean “I don’t like you because you aren’t like me, and I only want people who are acceptably like me to exist.”
