Real animals are fascinating to study and learn about, but they will literally never be fine to me like talking cartoon anthros. The two are completely separate!They really don’t get it, they just immediately think the only reason anyone ever gets attracted to a character is because they literally want to have sex with them and they find their appearance alone sexy. Not here to judge anybody who is actually more attracted to the looks, because it’s still not real, but the first thing that draws me about both of them (and a lot of my other crushes too! Even the more anti-accepted ones!) is the VOICE! I still want them to keep some animal features at least because as a monsterfucker, that’s hot! But there is nothing about either of them that makes me want to abuse actual animals! Feels like projection imo! They can’t easily separate reality from fiction, so they assume folks like me can’t either, and that translates into thinking being a furry or monsterfucker = being a zoophileAnd I really hate that this kind of talk gets to me! Most furry/monsterfuckers I know are coping with mental disorders, with past trauma, with alienation, with dehumanization at the hands of others. The last thing we need is more “am I a bad person” anxiety.
