I hate how people will accuse people of drawing underage characters with larger and more mature body proportions as if minors like that don’t exist in real life. Minors can’t control how their bodies are formed so it’s not a bad thing at all for teenagers to be more developed than their peers. This is how body shaming becomes more normalized and innocent people get accused of pedophilia.
When we were in middle school, we were regularly mis-aged as being 18+ specifically because of the size of our bust.
We were regularly both body shamed and sexually harassed for this trait, and gaslit to believe we deserved it because of the perception that large breasts are inherently adult and sexual.
Antis–and anyone else– body shaming minors with developed chests are contributing to normalizing abuse and sexual harassment.
