Is it too much to ask for a smut writer to not be an asshole when telling people what they don’t write? I don’t like shit like vore, scat, water sport, or anything involving a bodily fluid, but I’ll be damned if I’m gonna read anything someone writes if they’re gonna say, “If you like that shit then fuck off.” Just say it without being a cunt about it, ffs. Just simply say you don’t write for stuff involving bodily fluids instead of kink shaming those who like a kink you don’t. Don’t write at all if that’s gonna be your attitude, that’s a fast way to not gain an audience at all.In fact, this goes out to all smut writers who kink shame in there “do not write” list. If you’re gonna write smut and act like a swerf over what you personally don’t like/write for, then don’t write at all.
It’s definitely not too much to ask, anon.
It sucks when people treat sexual practices that they aren’t personally into as being objectively disgusting.
People need to realize that no everyone shares their views, and just because you aren’t into something you don’t need to broadcast your disgust. It just makes people who are into those things feel rejected and othered.
