You are not an “evil” Or “despicable” person for not enjoying wholesome things, or wanting to write dark fiction.
Whether that’s for coping reasons, or you just like to write it for the sake of writing.. It’s none of anyone’s business. You do you.
People being too oversensitive and entitled to not read the tags isn’t your problem, it’s entirely theirs. People getting their nipples in a twist over gore, blood, etc isn’t on you, it’s on THEM.
No one is bending their arm backward and pointing a gun to their heads, demanding they read it.
Even if your story involves something like Lit/tlest Pe/t S/hop characters being boiled alive and fed to Cthulhu for Christmas.
