honestly a bit surprised by all the people saying they don’t often see oc fic? it’s not something i read a lot, or even actively search for, but i see at least 5 every 3 pages on ao3 or something. it might just be the fandoms i’m in, i dunno, but i’ve definitely seen a good amount of oc fic writers still around lol
Yeah I suspect it is heavily dependent on what fandom you look at. But I do feel like there is a general trend of less OC fic than there was 2000-2010 era.
