I am Bitching once again that the fandom pro-censorship crowd cries and screams and wails that everyone has to respect their triggers forever and no one should be allowed to post anything that even mildly makes them uncomfortable–
–meanwhile here I am finding myself in “baby fever hell” in my favorite fandom tag and there is no way that I can filter it out. Nobody tags for babies. People barely even tag for pregnancy.
I can’t avoid seeing these images and fics. They are inescapable.
And I can’t even fucking tell you how nauseating and uncomfortable and triggering seeing my favorite characters bearing and raising infants is for me. Legitimately.
And it’s not just me! Plenty of people are squicked by this!! Triggered by it! Tokophobia is a real thing!
But the fandom pro-censorship crowd would never be on board for banning images of pregnant characters, or characters holding babies!
They only want to ban the things that make *them* uncomfortable. They don’t fucking give a shit what triggers me.
If I’m comforted by scenes of sex and violence, and they’re comforted by scenes of babies and pregnancies they just expect me to fuck off go to hell and die.
