One very hyperspecific scenario I like to write when it comes to whump is when a whumpee one day turns the tables on the whumper and uses the knowledge they have about the whumper-turned-whumpee to make them go through their worst fears. Especially when there is psychological warfare included.
Whump revenge scenarios are fantastic. I love this.
