They don’t know what words mean, and they don’t know their history.
They exist in a time that has allowed them to feel safe enough in their queerness that they believe they are accepted by their own oppressors.
They are being manipulated by conservatives who know the right words to say to make them think they’re on the side of justice.
It makes me want to repost those old PSAs. “Boys beware.”
When conservatives talk about degenerates and deviants and pedophiles they mean queers. All queers.
