Tbh I totally get thinking about a kintype in a fandom context. We’re system of as far as I know four (myself, one who sees himself as a fallen angel, he + I from when we did acid the first time occasionally can resurface independently, and Junko Enoshima because of factors like the character independence conversations from the other day plus the fact I kept talking to her outside of writing and fostering her independence in depressive spirals and acid trips, none of us predate when the body was 12), and while we aren’t Christian nor were we raised Christian (raised Wiccan), politics and history special interests lead to a special interest in non-biblical Christian European mythology (angel and demon summoning/banishing rune type stuff). As such, the fallen angel defines himself in a very “Christianity from the perspective of a historical mythology” way, like how the average person thinks about the Greek or Egyptian gods.

Since I first was introduced to the concept of “confusing disgust with morality”, I think that may be a big part of why even supposedly “sex positive” people get so scandalized about even incredibly benign kinks, like foot fetish stuff. While it’s definitely not MY thing, I don’t understand people acting like its “degenerate”, when it’s just like, another part of the body. Why’s it okay to like boobs or butts or legs but feet cross a line?

Tbh same. Writing fics of trauma related stuff either in violence that I had to deal with actually helped me heal from it. I no longer feel fucked up over what happened. Writing fics helps me cope with my irl issues. And I hate when people say, “No, you can’t do that cause you’re replaying what happened, and it’s unhealthy.” Dude, writing, fantasizing, has helped me deal with it. It has helped, ffs. Don’t try to take this from me.

blaming a person’s actions on the media they consume takes blame off the person themselves. it might be easier to blame an abstract thing for the bad behavior of someone you care or cared for once, but… they still hurt someone. the fact that they looked at fetish porn or violent video games doesn’t absolve them of fault. obviously it’s a different story when it’s real people involved and being harmed in its creation (i. e. csem), but i’d still say the person who viewed it is still at fault there as well? hopefully that makes sense? i myself am not into lolisho but i feel like saying anyone who’s ever looked at it is going to hurt a kid is barking up a very different tree than they should be? i’m glad that anon was able to heal from their trauma. finding stories that make you feel seen, even if it’s in an unexpected fashion, can be a really freeing experience! but i feel awful for all the people who want to use fiction to help work through things but then get told they’re coping wrong. like. literally ask a therapist, dude! they’ll tell you all about how helpful fictional stories can be, both in consuming and creating them!

Anti groups are really weird. When I was still an anti, at one point I was hyperfixated on pokemon and I was ranting to someone about how people who are against pokephilia don’t make sense because pokemon and humans can actually understand each other really well so yes a pokemon could consent and then I got kicked out of that server. Like I explained in detail why it wouldn’t be “problematic” and still got kicked.
