Hello! I wanted to know how I can differentiate constructive criticism with destructive ones, specially when involves the depiction of certain elementsFor example, let’s just say that my story involves sexual assault, but it’s not depicted in a bad light or, at least, it’s showed in a good one, and then someone sees that and says that they didn’t like it and explains why. Even if it’s just their opinion, does this count as a constructive or destructive?Another example, let’s just say that I wrote a character that is stereotype of a certain group, and then someone doesn’t like that and explains why that is a bad thing. Is that a constructive or destructive one?(Sorry for that detailed examples, I just wanted some clarifiction)
