“If proshippers don’t even like problematic content, then why would they defend it so much???” um, because it’s bad to limit freedom of expression? Haven’t you ever heard, “I disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it”?
Freedom of expression should only be limited in cases of actual real-world harm. It’s really quite simple.
You know, like death threats and suibaits.
And besides, banning content doesn’t make it stop anyway, it just means it won’t be properly tagged anymore. I prefer being able to avoid certain things, thanks.
And don’t add to this post with anything like, “People say this when they’re told to stop making child pornography!” I’m not defending anything involving real minors, please pay attention.
