If I write something sexual, and someone unrelated to me reads my fiction and then goes and sexually assaults someone that’s not my fault or responsibility.
If I write sexual fiction about underage characters and someone unrelated to me reads my fiction and then goes and sexually assaults a child, that’s not my fault or responsibility.
Do not blame fiction for people committing crimes.
Dark, problematic, and taboo fiction doesn’t glorify or promote crime.
Problematic writers are not responsible for the actions of people who commit crimes.
