Age gaps being demonized among consenting adults is honestly so weird to me because this assumes a lot about two people that shouldn’t be assumed. For example, if a person spends a lot of their life working through depression and doesn’t get out much and they’re 40, but they meet someone who is 25 and they do have a lot of experience, the total life experience for each person can be really similar to the other person? Age is a stupid number to gauge anything once people are adults even in irl.
It’s almost like when antis tell someone to “BE NORMAL!!” they are giving themselves away.
Antis expect everyone to be “"normal”“:
- American
- Neureotypical (or neurodivergent only in a cute, not messay way)
- Able bodied
- Middle class financial resources
- Protestant or catholic
- Heterosexual (if you’re queer don’t dare be visible! No kink at pride!!)
