🍕 I’m always really astounded by your level of confidence in fandom—I actually follow you, but I only ever send anons cause severe fear of antis doxxing me.
We’ve lived through the worst of it. We had Something Awful threads and Encyclopedia Dramatica articles, etc, about us back in the day.
We try to treat fancops, harassers and trolls online like we would any real world terrorist or bully.
What these people are trying to do is to use fear to make you back down, to make you disappear, to make you shut up.
We refuse.
We are here. They will not make us go away.
And if us refusing to shut up helps even one person who sees us feel more inspired to be courageous, or even just to feel a little less self loathing at who they are, then we are proud to be here, and it’s all worth it.
