People who are not legal adults, both children and teens, have sex and sexual, and pseudo-sexual experiences one another.

That’s a real fact of the real world, whether someone thinks its good, or moral or not. It is a fact of the reality we live in.

I think that it’s dystopian to discuss the merits of restricting or banning fiction about a very real aspect of human lives and human realities.

I think it’s ridiculous to clutch pearls and pretend that high schoolers don’t have sex with one another.

I think it’s outright damaging and harmful to pretend that anyone prior to high school has never even heard of sex or will never be affected by it.

I think its silly to say that there shouldn’t be fiction people who are not legal adults having sex with one another– especially when a large amount of that fanfiction is written by people around the same age as the characters exploring their sexuality.

And given that all human beings were once children, I think it’s silly to restrict people of any age from expressing and exploring feelings and sexuality that they had at that age.

If somebody wants to write a fictionalized account of their first time with their highschool boyfriend under the lens of Naruto x Sasuke fanfiction its really stupid to say that’s wrong.
