Whenever I see someone making an argument for banning or restricting fiction about some real aspect of the human experience, like sexuality, rape, csa, abuse, etc–

all I see is the pro-censorship crowd as the Marge “it’s true but you shouldn’t say it” meme, except “it’s true, but you shouldn’t write about it.”

or “it’s true but you should only write about it in a way I personally approve of.”
