Thank you.So I have a teacher kink, which is ironic because I never any of my teachers when I was in school attractive, although fictional teachers are just hot as hell. And a specific teacher kink/fantasy I have is teacher x student fantasies. And I love reading fics of that.But lately I’ve been noticing fics with this kink never go for teacher x student. I understand if it’s a personal comfort thing, but when reading teacher kink fics, the writer refuses to have it where the reader/character is a student or make it a college setting as if to balance the power imbalance. Which with the college setting thing, makes it lose the taboo appeal when the writing really just makes it seem more inappropriate/unprofessional than of an abuse of power.Like I said, totally understand if the writer doesn’t like writing power imbalances for their personal comfort. But I swear, a lot of fic writers who wrote nsfw and kinks seem to always write as if to either play it safe, or as if they genuinely think they’ll go to prison for writing something “illegal.”Is it weird to want fics where the power imbalance of a teacher and a student is prominent for those into that kinda thing? I know I could write what specific part of this kink I want to portray and trying to, I’m just not good at it so it’s a constant redo. I feel like I’m whining here because there’s not enough fics out there to cater to my taste. But am I the only one who’s kinda tired of the whole “playing safe” kinda writing for these kinda fics here?

I feel you. I think a lot of people play it safe because they want a larger audience, or are worried about harassment, although I’m sure some do it because they are also squicked by going ‘too far’ with the trope.

But when it comes to content, be the change you want to see!

I’m not even proship, but seeing him support the movement against censorship in fiction? That’s just a relief. Knowing that even celebrities and public figures support things going against Antis? So nice… It’s comforting in a weird way.
