Tried turning off xkit and ublock origin to see if they were the reason tumblr was so slow and keeps throwing error messages. But nope. Not them. It’s just tumblr being tumblr.

The fact that tumblr support is essentially unreachable is infuriating. It’s madness. You put in a ticket and you don’t hear back for months? Who runs a website like this.

I sent a ticket to tumblr’s parent company directly, so we’ll see if that gets any answer.
The really evil thing is that when tumblr deletes your blog, all your posts become unsearchable in other people’s blogs. you can find them if they’re tagged but otherwise no dice.

It would sure be nice if blocking somebody with a pointless bad faith interpretation of your post also prevented all their shrieking minions from reblogging it from them.

what are the best methods/tactics to see really old tumblr posts, preferably with a specific tag?
resident evil tag current FUCKING UNUSABLE due to the amount of actual fucking spam in it. Just went through and flagged/reported all the spam I saw. If you run into it, please be kind and also flag/report for spam.
