LMFAO okay so to that other system re: “being your own dom” … our host used to “put (themself) into subspace” <- their own words! and then “Dom themself” about it too. as you can probably guess when they found out we were part of a system it was really funny (for me!) to watch D & H dance around the fact that they were doing a d/s thing together. When you brought up Leon x Ashley from Resident Evil, I was thinking, “it’s probably because people were “minor-coding” Ashley because she’s seven years younger than Leon.” Honestly, I’m neutral about the ship, I think it’s fine, it’s harmless (like all ships are, because it’s fiction), but I have a huge issue with people that “minor-code” a 20 something year old female character. The term “minor-code” is a term that I think shouldn’t exist. But that’s just a me thing and I pretty much avoid people who used that term.

just got a condescending ask asking if I was aware that we proshippers groom kids. I hate kids! I only have a few teenaged mutuals that I like hanging around with, and if it weren’t for them, I’d say the blog is 18+. one of the main reasons I block people is because they seem immature. that cyberstalking post reminded me that the only way i found out my old friend group were antis is that they invited me to their server and it had three whole channels dedicated to logging usernames of people who liked ‘proship posts’ on twitter and screenshots of those peoples liked tweets and their vent tweets to make fun of them. it was totally appalling and it was such a shock since fanpol stuff had never come up until that point because we only played ffxiv together 💀

Anon here from the deleted game ask! Tysm for the answer! So our host used to do something similar as the anon writing letters to themselves. He would “be his own Dom”, including things like rules and bratting and punishments. Buuttt that changed when he learned that we’re a system and the part that he that was him being his own Dom was actually our gatekeeper. They still do D/s stuff but the host doesn’t consider it being his own Dom so much anymore. But overall i think it’s a lot of fun to start a silly little relationship with yourself! I’m not sure it would so much be considered selfship, cause I think that normally involves a character to ship yourself with. I think it should be called selfcest though and selfcest relationships are rad

Thank you for talking to me about heart homes. The term was impactful enough to send me on a research binge and I not only learned a lot about my own kintypes and stuff, but also I got on a rabbit hole of plurality and tulpamancy. I think I’ve been experiencing something similar to Tulpas, especially with one of my…alters? Headmates? People? Alter is the word I’ve always used but I’m not sure it fits (these people aren’t versions of me, y’know?). He was originally just…an imaginary friend. A comfort when I was lonely. I desperately needed to not be alone, and I made a friend who could be that. And eventually he sorta…started existing on his own? I can still sort of control him (which I’ve learned is apparently called puppeting?) but at the same time he has…facts I didn’t make, like his name and the fact he likes those big boomboxes and the colors yellow and orange (which I typically don’t like so idk where that come from) The others seem to be a trauma case and…I’m not sure where the other one came from. My earliest memory of her is when I got too stressed out to clean but had to clean and just kinda…snapped? So I’m not sure. But I’m excited, too. There might be answers somewhere for me! 🩷✉️ (featuring 💛✉️, 🩵✉️, and❤️✉️)

Today I was talking with cishet friend and she said she’s like on pins and needles around lgbts because she’s never sure if her words would be interpreted in bad way or how she’s never sure if something is offensive. I’m lgbt, asexual to be specific, but strangely I kind of related to that. Even with other aces I often find myself not knowing what some basic terms are, why they find some things offensive and some other are fine, not fully understanding things and so on. Sometimes I’m dreadful of asking because my lack of knowledge could be interpreted in bad faith (especially when it comes to gender related stuff because I hardly know anything)
