I don’t know if this counts as a gush or what. I just wanna talk about this one incredibly silly thought about my f/o that won’t leave my head. This thought will make more sense if I explain who he is very quickly. He’s an obscure Transformers character who’s a part of a group known as the Decepticon Justice Division. They’re a group of sadistic, homicidal, and deeply loyalist political zealots. (In the first IDW comics, decepticonism started as a political ideology). The five of them have exactly one mission and that is to hunt down every decepticon that shows anything less than unwavering loyalty to the Cause and kill them. They typically torture them before finally ending their lives in the most brutal and gorey way possible. One of the hottest canon images of my f/o is of him holding someone’s disembodied head in one hand and that same person’s brain in the other while grinning. He did that to that person because said person is an Autobot. With this in mind, I cannot argue that he would be proship. No, he would definitely be an anti but he’d have wildly different standards on what fiction should not be allowed. This one ship i have for an entirely different fandom between a cult leader and a happy-go-lucky camp counselor would be Problematic to him not because it’s blatantly horribly abusive but because one of them is a cult leader and Megatron’s book Towards Peace makes it very clear what the decepticon view of religion is (it’s inherently bad). Incest? That’s fine. Age gap? That’s fine too, I mean technically we are an age gap ship due to me being 27 and him being older than all of humanity. Abuse? Okay whatever. Autobots portrayed in a sympathetic light? How dare you, they better defect and become a decepticon in the end. I don’t know why this is as funny as it is to me.
