thank you! i’m not the best at explaining things, but a proshipper is generally someone who supports, makes, and/or consumes content related to incest, pedophilia, or both. they’re oftentimes people who say that fiction doesn’t affect reality, and that support the consumption and creation of fictional incest and pedophilia. i hope this helps
Hi there! Proshippers are actually people who support acknowledging the separation of fiction and reality, and believe in minding their own business with regard to what fiction other people create and consume.
Sometimes that does mean supporting the right of people to create and consume fiction about underage characters or incestuous relationships in fiction (like in game of thrones), but this is part of protecting fandom and fiction as a space for everyone to enjoy without being harassed.
If everyone who “didn’t want to label themselves as proship” actually did label themselves that way, antis would see how outnumbered they are, and would be less able to pull the “proship means pedophile” bs.
Not telling anyone how they should identify but there’s strength in numbers.
