Saluton! Do you have any information as to when and where “source” started being used to describe the medium one’s identity stems from? There has been a sudden glut of people saying it’s a system-exclusive term, and while I know otherwise, any leads towards concrete proof of its origin in this way would be greatly appreciated!

God, that comment about systems not being proshippers pisses me off. How can anyone just… invalidate other’s traumas like that? I don’t know a lot about syscourse and stuff, but me being a proshipper doesn’t make me less valid. Even though most in my system are more neutral on the matter (only one other actually actively cares about it and the rest focus on other stuff) it’s like… idk. Just feels like a really spiteful blow, you know?
